Rental Cars – The rental car facility at Baltimore Washington Airport is located a 10 minute shuttle ride from the airport terminal. The complimentary shuttles run approximately every 10 minutes from the lower level of the terminal. It is recommended to have the rental vehicle booked in advance of the arrival at the airport since there are no car rental desks in the terminal.

Trains – MTA Light Rail offers direct transfer connections to downtown Baltimore, Timonium and Hunt Valley on a daily basis. The BWI Marshall Airport Light Rail Stations can be found outside Concourse E on the lower level, in a building adjacent to the Concourse.

Hotel Shuttles – Hotels in the surrounding areas may offer airport shuttle transfer to their guests, complimentary or at an additional cost. There are several places in the terminal where children can have some fun while waiting to board the flight, which is important for a peaceful flight for all passengers as well as the child.
The play area located in the Observation Gallery offers the activity of watching the runway and taxiways as flight take off and land.
There is also the recently installed playground in the D/E Connector, and rocking chairs can be found in various locations around the terminal.

There are two locations where currency exchange services are available at the airport. One is located on airside, just inside the Security Checkpoint D/E, and the other on landside, in between the Lost and Found office and the American Airlines ticketing area.
Nursing Stations at BWI Marshall Airport
Mamava nursing units are high-quality facilities for nursing mothers. These specialized lactation stations are accessible in each of the concourses for mothers who do not wish to nurse in public. The Mamavas are located as follows; near Gate A7, near Gate B2, near Gate C5, near Gate D2 and in the Children’s Play Area in the D/E Connector.
There are also private nursing rooms located near Gates A12 and E6.
