Baltimore Washington International Airport Parking

Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport has four great parking options for their visitors, plus a Cell Phone Lot for greeters of arriving travelers. 

The airport does not offer parking for oversized vehicles. 

Accessible parking is available along the outer perimeter of Level 5 in the Hourly Garage.

Hourly Garage at BWI

The Hourly Garage offers parking that is covered and also closest to the airport, with fast and convenient access to the terminal via the elevators and climate-controlled skywalks. The green lights will show the way to available parking spaces. 

The Hourly Garaged has easy access to I-195.

Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations can be found on Level 1 of the Hourly Garage. 

Parking Fee for Hourly Garage is $4.00 per hour or $22.00 per day. 

Tip for travelers flying with Southwest is that they park on the right side of Hourly Garage as it is closest to Concourses A, B and C which Southwest uses. 

Daily Garage at BWI

The Daily Garage offers more than 8,400 parking spaces that are covered. The Daily Garage is located at Terminal Road and Scott Drive and complimentary shuttles will transfer travelers between the garage and the terminal every 10 minutes or so at all times. Shuttles will stop at several different locations with close access to the different airlines’ check-in areas. 

When coming from I-195 take Exit 1-A, turn onto Terminal Road then turn left onto Scott Drive.

Parking Fee for the Daily Garage is $12 per day.

Express Parking at BWI (Temporarily Closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic)

Express Parking provides travelers with a trunk-to-terminal service. Once you have parked at the parking lot located across from the Daily Garage, at Terminal Road and Scott Drive (see directions under Daily Garage), a comfortable shuttle bus will pick the traveler up right at the parking space and will help move the luggage from the trunk to the shuttle, and upon the return to the airport the traveler will be dropped off by their car and their luggage moved to the trunk from the shuttle. 

The frequency of the shuttle bus is approximately every 8-10 minutes, so while travelers may have to wait a few minutes after parking it shouldn’t be long before the shuttle arrives.

Parking Fee for Express Parking is $10 per day.

Long Term Parking at BWI

The most economical of the parking options at Baltimore-Washington International Airport is the Long Term Parking. It is divided into Long Term Parking A and Long Term Parking. It is recommended to make a note in which one the vehicle is parked before heading to the terminal. The two surface lots offer more than 10,000 parking spaces located just off MD 162 (Aviation Blvd.) between S. Camp Meade Road and Andover Road.

Complimentary shuttle buses frequent the new shelters, positioned throughout the parking lots, every 8-10 minutes. The shelters feature monitors showing the real-time next shuttle arrival time for the convenience of the traveler.

The Parking Fee for Long Term Parking is $8.00 per day.

Cell Phone Lot at BWI

The Cell Phone at the airport is located just to the right of the entrance to the Daily Garage, on Scott Road. This is where greeters can wait for the traveler to collect their luggage and get ready for pick-up at the airport. This means the greeter doesn’t have to pay a parking fee or circle around the airport while waiting for the traveler. 

Regulations for the Cell Phone Lot are that no commercial or courtesy vehicle is allowed to wait there. Vehicles are not allowed to be left unattended and the maximum waiting time is 1 hour.

Fly Away Valet Parking at BWI (Temporarily Closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic)

This option is temporarily suspended at the time of writing and if it is open as you read this changes may apply to the information disclosed. 

The Fly Away Valet is located on the 5th floor of the Hourly Garage, near Tower B. It includes separate lanes for entering and exiting, complimentary bottled water, newspaper, window cleaning, interior vacuuming and luggage assistance while being close to the Terminal. 

Parking fee for Fly Away Valet Parking is $8 per hour for the first three hours and a daily maximum of $30.
